Abstract: This study aims to investigate the effects of the prone position on the steel X restraint system on ticklishness and comfort, compared to the traditional supine position. Our primary candidate, Miss Mia, a highly reactive and ticklish individual, will be subjected to various tickling stimuli in both positions to gather data on her responses.

Methodology:

1. Participant Selection: Miss Mia, a Latina volunteer from Mexico, was selected based on her extreme reactivity to tickling and her desire to escape during tickling sessions.
2. Restraint System: The steel X restraint system was used, with Miss Mia strapped facedown in a spread eagle position, with her arms and legs leather wrapped, sheathed, and strapped to the rigid steel rods.
3. Clothing: Miss Mia wore light, loose-fitting clothing to maximize surface feedback and reaction to tickling stimuli.
4. Tickling Tools: A variety of tools were used to stimulate ticklishness, including:
• Fettishlabs' new probe device
• Bad Vibrations (a handheld rubber-tipped scrubber that vibrates at a high frequency)
• Doomfeather v1 (a variable speed vibrating feather)
• Traditional manual digital stimulation
5. Tickling Locations: Miss Mia was tickled on multiple locations, including:
• Underarms
• Back
• Feet
• Inner thighs
• Sides
• Gluteal region
6. Data Collection: Researchers observed and recorded Miss Mia's reactions, including verbal responses, body language, and physiological responses (e.g., heart rate, skin conductance).
7. Comparative Analysis: The data collected from the prone position on the steel X will be compared to a control group using the traditional supine position to assess differences in ticklishness and comfort.

Results: During the experiment, Miss Mia exhibited extreme reactions to the tickling stimuli, including high-pitched laughter, struggling, and vocalizations. Notably, she uttered the word "fuck" multiple times, accompanied by intense laughter and thrashing about, indicating a high level of arousal and discomfort.

Hypothesis: We hypothesize that the prone position on the steel X will reduce discomfort and increase ticklishness compared to the traditional supine position, due to the reduced ability for knees to buckle and the maintenance of a more stable position.
