Methodology:

1. Baseline Challenge: Elli was secured in a hogtie position on the floor using black tape tightly wound around her body to establish a controlled environment.
2. Mouth Packing and Gagging: A large sponge was inserted into Elli's mouth to prevent intelligible speech and minimize the risk of swallowing hazards. The mouth packing was secured with black tape, wound around her face to ensure a tight seal.
3. Distraction and Challenge: To distract Elli and increase the difficulty of the task, her bare feet were bound together in a standard hogtie fashion, with big toes secured, and her soles subjected to gargalesis stimulation (gargalesis tickling).

Objective: The primary objective of this experiment was to assess Elli's escape artist skills by challenging her to remove the gag and mouth packing, thereby restoring intelligible speech.

Outcome Measures: Success was defined as Elli's ability to push the sponge out of her mouth and remove the tape, resulting in intelligible speech. Failure was determined by her inability to achieve this outcome.
