The trial will cease upon the participant's use of the safeword "red," indicating an unbearable level of discomfort.

Methods:

• Participant Preparation: Honey will be mummified in leather from the neck to the ankles, with her head pinned back by a blindfold wrapped around her eyes and secured to a 45-degree wedge, elevating her upper body. Her feet will be bound with all ten toes flexed backward, held in place by a hard bracket.
• Leather Sheathing and Strapping:The participant's body will be fully sheathed in leather, strapped shut, and secured to the table, rendering her immobile.
• High-Temperature Honey Mixture Application: A basting brush will be used to coat the participant's feet with a high-temperature hot honey mixture, intensifying the effects of the heat.
• Heat Application: A 1000-watt oscillation heater will be placed at the participant's bound bare feet and activated on maximum power, allowing the heat to escalate.
• Observation and Safeword Protocol: Observers will monitor the participant's facial feedback and mental struggle throughout the procedure. The participant will be given the safeword "red" to signal the immediate cessation of the trial if she becomes unable to bear the discomfort.
