• Limb Immobilization: Steel-boned arm and leg sleeves were applied, encasing the subject’s limbs from proximal phalanx to axilla/inguinal crease. These sleeves were mechanically locked to the table’s anchor points, rendering any flexor withdrawal reflex physically impossible.
• Pedal Distal Flexion: The subject’s toes were individually bound to the ratcheting T-Bar. The bar was then cranked to a maximum full-flex position, drawing the plantar fascia and metatarsal pad into a state of extreme tautness.
