Abstract
Background: Contemporary stress-related pathologies demand innovative, non-pharmacological interventions targeting the autonomic nervous system. This paper examines the efficacy of the Fettishlabs Tickle Therapy Device (FTTD) in inducing neural decompression through enforced, high-intensity pedal stimulation.
Objective: To measure pre- and post-treatment stress biomarkers in Subject NT-01 (Natasha Ty), a first-time volunteer presenting with high baseline sympathetic arousal, during an extended immobilization and tickle therapy protocol.
Methods: Subject NT-01 was secured in the FTTD restraint chair using a multi-point leg fixation system (above-knee, below-knee, shin, and thigh belts), ankle stocks with toe-retraction bindings achieving full dorsiflexion, and a reinforced straitjacket for upper body immobilization. A pre-treatment stress assay was conducted. The intervention consisted of a calibrated sensitivity-heightening protocol (percussive impact) followed by sustained, methodical digital and instrumental tickling of the plantar and interdigital surfaces. Post-treatment stress was then measured.
Results: Preliminary observation indicates a profound parasympathetic rebound following an initial sympathetic spike, characterized by vocal catharsis, reactionary spastic relief, and a significant drop in subjective negative psychological markers.
Conclusion: The FTTD demonstrates promising potential as a clinical tool for stress decompression. Subject NT-01’s session provides a critical baseline for developing standardized tickle therapy services for daily psychological management.
